Needless to say, we didn't eat at the casino. They wanted $9.99 for two Belgium waffles and syrup!! $15.00+ for philly cheesesteak sandwich. The machines were 'tight', it was rather dirty, super smokey and really no place to eat, other than the super high priced Nelson's Deli. The shower was OK, other than the shower head leaked at the connection and sprayed water all over the ceiling. The heater sounded like a dishwasher running all night. The room temperature could not be consistent, either too cold or too warm. The pillows were junk and needed to be replaced.
The bed was OK, but really squeaked when you moved around. It had obviously been updated and appeared to be clean. We were in the far end of the hallway, which was fine, and overlooked the adjoining property which was a marina. Our room was in the old part of the hotel, a king room. I no more than walked back out into the parking lot, when I was texted and told our room was available. Upon arrival I checked in and told our room wasn't available, and they'd text me when it was.
Thought we'd give it a try again for our anniversary. We hadn't been at the casino/hotel for years.
